Hello My People,

Today was a big moment for our little Nj — his very first day at daycare here in Calgary, Canada 🇨🇦.

He didn’t know it at first, but as soon as we got downstairs and he saw the other kids, you could see the excitement on his face. He was ready — legs kicking, eyes sparkling, heart full of curiosity!.

Of course, there was a little hiccup — we forgot his headwarmer, and Daddy had to run upstairs while Nj could barely wait to join the fun! 😅

This vlog captures that sweet moment, plus a little peek into my quiet mum day while Nj was away: making some comfort food (yes, fried plantains 🍌), picking him up later, and running to Mark’s to get him some footwear.

Life as a new mum and immigrant in Canada is full of tiny, meaningful moments — and I’m so grateful to be sharing them with you.
