Adhongi godman Kashipur Waale Baba Nirala (essayed by Bobby Deol), a sea of followers blinded by his charismatic personality and an aashram that promises to be a heavenly abode for the innocent, but is in fact a façade that witnesses the trade of faith—MX Original Series Aashram has created a storm across the country.
Produced and directed by Prakash Jha, the series touches upon how women are exploited in the aashram to fulfil the insatiable lust of Babaji—which becomes a point of no return for young women like Pammi (Aaditi Pohankar) or Kavita (Anuritta K Jha), who find themselves locked up within its walls and are desperate to escape.

Enamoured by this world and its offering, no one is spared with ablebodied young men being asked to undergo a “shuddhikaran” under the garb of achieving nirvana and letting go of unwanted desires. This track is seen when Babita (Tridha Choudhury) is married to Pammi’s brother Satti (Tushar Pandey) in a community marriage organised by the aashram and the duo starts to fall in love with each other.
However, her dreams of being happily married are shattered when she learns that Satti was castrated at the behest of Babaji, so that Babita can pleasure him instead.
