TRIP TO KAZAN, TATARSTAN | Weekend in the third Capital of Russia \\ Top Russia Travel Vlog 2021

During Christmas, my mother and I decided to spend a weekend in the capital of the Tatarstan Republic - the city of Kazan. The city is very popular in Russia and unofficially named the third capital of the country.

It is worth noting that Kazan is about 150 years older than Moscow. The city was officially founded in 1005. Kazan is home to one of the largest mosques in Europe - Kul-Sharif, and this place is the heart of the city.

One of the interesting facts about the city is that there are temples of 16 different religions in Kazan. Representatives of 115 nationalities live here, which makes Kazan the most multinational city in Russia.

Personally, I really liked the city but I definitely advise you to visit it in the summer because in winter it is very cold there (we walked around the city in -14C)
