FDM vs Resin: Which Is Actually Better?

Today, I’m comparing FDM vs Resin 3D printing to show the difference in detail you can expect for tabletop miniatures. Using Viperborn models from Fat Dragon Games, I take a close look at how each print method handles scales, weapons, faces, and overall sharpness.

FDM printers can produce great-looking minis once they’re properly dialed in, especially for supportless models. Resin printers, though, really shine when it comes to capturing fine details and crisp textures.

I also showcase some painted examples and talk about what stood out to me while working on these prints.
