Eminem - Lose Yourself x Rap God x Godzilla x Till I Collapse x Sing For The Moment x Stan (MASHUP)

…Eminem. Literally Eminem. We all know him—a worldwide phenomenon. Even if he’s 51 now, he’s still really dang good at what he does. Rapping and Hip-Hop… that’s quite literally his entire career. Working up to this stage of life from nothing at all.

((DISCLAIMER: STAN ONLY HAS ITS FIRST APPEARANCE AT THE 3-MINUTE MARK, AND WILL PLAY AS THE INSTRUMENTAL TILL THE END.))

Now, there are quite a few songs that let Eminem blow up. A few smash-hits, I’d say. Starting off with My Name Is, but then there’s Lose Yourself, then Stan, Rap God, up till nowadays where he collaborated with Juice WRLD (rest in peace) on Godzilla. He has made a large platform on his own where he proved that rapping could, in fact, push someone to be one of the most successful people in the entire world, against thousands, if not millions, of singers. Of course, that’d also inspire many other rappers to follow his tracks while developing their own styles…! :D

Now, Lose Yourself is the first song to appear not just because of the legendary intro (I mean like, everybody knows that intro), but also because it’s the considerably most popular song from all of them, dating back in 2002 along with the movie “8 Mile”, which does have autobiographical references to Eminem’s life (the oldest song from the 6 is Stan, released in 2000 :P). That’s why he managed to make the track so relatable and catchy, which to then skyrocketed him. But it’s not just the talent he holds that is the best feature about him, there’s also a huge compliment that should be given to all his years of hard work. No talent is found without hard work—Eminem’s success may include a lot from a natural gift for rapping, but there’s no way he didn’t work extremely hard, took every opportunity he had, to struggle and move his way to the top. The work usually gets looked over though… but just be sure, no success if found in just pure luck and gifts. If you don’t train them and try your best, it doesn’t matter how lucky or “natural” you are, you’d still be on square one. :,)

And so, he went on to release the album “The Eminem Show” 3 years after the single Stan is released, including different scene-like parts to have a bit of a movie-like feel. The album also includes Sing For The Moment and Till I Collapse, another 2 hits (jeez that’s… quite a lot to take in in a short period of time), then there’s the other hit single Rap God (bro’s just packing sooooo much into his career :0) which contains the iconic meme of 9.6 syllables-per-second “Summa Lumma Domma Lumma” part, starting off a chain of people trying to recreate that insanely fast part or to make an even faster song to break that record (which I personally did try, but my mouth couldn’t go that fast lol—but Eminem will eventually beat his own record with Godzilla in 2020, with the third verse going 12.44 syllables per second).

In the end? Yeah, the guy’s insane. But hey, best believe I respect THAT… pretty noice inspiration for us all, in the end.

So I mashuped the 6 songs that’re mentioned. The specific reason is either because the similar chord progressions (for the instrumentals), and iconic moments (for the vocals). And here we have a pretty large one—Loss Yourself, Till I Collapse, Sing For The Moment, Rap God, Stan, Godzilla… all scrunched up into a lyrical mess. :]
