TRIANGLE POSE ON THE CHAIR

Here are 2 different ways I like to practice Triangle on the chair!

I prefer to practice Triangle Pose on the chair a little differently to the mat. Usually I prefer to practice one leg extended and the other bent. Breaking it in half essentially. This is because I find that both legs extended is much lower and wider on the chair than when I’m on the mat. So this feels much better for me!

⦿ Start in sitting mountain
⦿ Move right leg to the right. Either extend your right leg or your left leg. Keep the whole foot on the ground.
⦿ Press feet into the floor
⦿ Maintaining length in spine, tilt torso towards right and place right hand on leg
⦿ Take left hand to hip, shoulder or up to side
⦿ Keep chest open, shoulders down and avoid collapsing into lower side of waist
⦿ Don’t forget to breathe!!
⦿ Repeat on left side
