Long lines trouble Davao voters hours before polling precincts close

Long lines form at Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School in Davao City on Monday afternoon, May 12, and challenge voters who rush to cast their ballots before precincts close at 7 pm.

The school serves three barangays with at least 4,000 registered voters.

Local authorities say many opted to vote late in the day to avoid the intense heat earlier in the afternoon. #PHVote #AmbagNatin
