ALLMENGRAT - Hiking the sharp ridge between Kandersteg and Adelboden / SWITZERLAND

Kandersteg is a beautiful place in the Bernese Alps... many visitors of Kandersteg, surely know the beautiful azure mountain lake Oeschinensee. Kandersteg is also very good knows for it's awesome via ferrata "Allmenalp". Mountaineers are tempting by the snowy Bluemlisalp mountain range, high above Oeschinen lake. But only a very few knows about this jewel, that is kandersteg hidding.. highly exposed alpine shape ridge, with plenty of air below the feet.. the ALLMENGRAT.

This ridge is located between Kandersteg and Adelboden. Can be done from both villages.
We have decided to go from Kandersteg, taking a cable car to Allmenalp... (if you got the whole day, you can combine it with via ferrata Allmenalp).
From the Allmenalp we have followed the trail leading to summit of "First" at 2548m T3.
Then going straight fro the ridge Allmen... to Bunderspitz 2546m.
This ridge from First to Bunderspitz is classified as T6, and surely deserves it. Knife-edge ridge offerts plenty of adrenaline.. only for experienced hikers, without fear of heights!!! On the way there are some climbing parts, but not more then II. UIAA. Rocks are steady, and whole ridge very enjoyable to crossed, it was a lot of fun!! Would gladly do it again!!
From Bunderspitz back to Allmenalp via marked route, T3 difficulty.
Breathtaking panorama of the Bluemlisalp snowy peaks, Oeschinen lake, mountains like Balmhorn and Altels offers itself from a nice point of view.. from the other side there's Abodelboden highest mountain Lohner, Albristhorn, and the long Niesen ridge (Niesengrat)..even lake thun can be seen from the ridge of allmen.
