What’s the movie about?
Ernie "Chip" Douglas (Jim Carrey) is a lonely cable guy raised on television. Trying to make new friends, he meets architect Steven Kovacs (Matthew Broderick), who’s just moved after a failed marriage. Chip soon reveals himself to be intrusive in his customers’ lives, so Steven decides to end his relationship with Chip. This causes Chip to embark on a series of vengeful events.
