How Curiosity Killed the Cat and Almost Killed the PhD Student | Aqyan Bhatti | TEDxSpeedwayPlaza
It is the pinnacle of educational achievement: prestigious, exclusive, and monumental. Yet, what is so special about a PhD - is there even anything special about it? Aqyan gives insight into the life of a PhD student to see how and why people even tread down such a path.
Aqyan Bhatti received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013. He is working toward a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at UT Austin, where his research is focused on understanding and modeling the underlying physics in the operation of nanoscale solid-state electronic devices.
