Freddie King has been an influential blues guitarist, helping players like Eric Clapton find their blues guitar voice, so a look at his playing is well worth your time. This lick is in the key of D and using some common D minor pentatonic shapes. It's packed full of powerhouse bending moves and is played with a cool funky feel, just like Freddie's playing on his famous track 'Going Down'.
