Comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) plays an extremely important role in a successful commissioning of the automation upgrade. The more thorough the testing, the less risks during shutdown. In the FAT testing, The teams of both Valmet and Metsä Group have jointly tested the pulp mill's new automation application.
