another great running Jost hot air fan (stirling engine)
Made in Zeitz, Germany ca. 1912-14 and sold by the company founded by Carl Jost, this example has its original aluminum blades and original kerosene lamp. Note the very fine castings of the legs and stand. Marked "Made in Germany" on the understand of the motor support ring. Runs very fast and in near silence as it did 100 years ago. Blades are 20 inches in diameter. These are the 'cadillacs' of antique hot air fans.
