The HP300 in this video was assembled completely from parts and components that we had in stock, in our Component Exchange Program (CXP), which stocks parts and components for popular models of crushers. Many of these parts and components could have long lead-times. For customers not willing to wait, Mellott Company has these components and parts in stock. In fact, we have enough to assemble a full crusher from the parts we have on hand, like in the case of the cone in the video.

HP cone crushers are also excellent for the production of manufactured sand, which might be of interest to manufacturers of “frac-sand”. The combination of high speed and great eccentricity, together with a crushing chamber that promotes intense interparticular crushing, produces manufactured sand with high cubicity particles and excellent gradation for concrete.
