Why is Apple releasing a $599 MacBook Neo It makes no sense right Well here's my hypothesis I think $599 is a good entry point for most programmers who want to try out the new AI workflows like Claude Bot Claude Code and so on which will put Apple in a very powerful position in the hardware side of things where all these AI models are running on their MacBooks right We saw this with Claude Bot People were buying the Mac minis and Mac mini became the standard for hosting Claude Bots And so if Apple can sell a lot of these um simpler cheaper machines they will become the frontier for hosting AI services and AI workflows Uh let me know if it makes sense to you guys but at least this is my hypothesis of where the industry is going and I think it's a really good strategic move from Apple
