Google's bug-hunting team, Project Zero, has discovered 18 security vulnerabilities that affect Exynos modems on some Samsung and Pixel phones. Four of these vulnerabilities are critical and allow attackers to silently and remotely compromise affected devices without the user's knowledge.

The affected devices include Samsung's S22, M, and A series phones, as well as Google's Pixel 7 and 6 series.

The bug has been fixed in the March 2023 security update for Pixel 7 devices, but not yet for Pixel 6 devices. Google has advised users to disable VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling until they receive the March update.
