Noorduyn Norseman flight from CWHM in Hamilton

A rare opportunity for a flight in a vintage Noorduyn Norseman Mk. V airplane from Hamilton Airport. This Norseman is owned and flown by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. The flight was around the area over Caledonia, Hamilton and Ancaster. Most Norseman airplanes were used on floats and skis as a bush plane operating in the Canadian North. This one is now based at Hamilton Airport on the wheeled landing gear. It was a beautiful day for a flight even with some clouds. The roar of the Pratt & Whitney R-1340 radial engine on takeoff is worth hearing in this video.
