QOD Nerang River Drone Shots
In Australia and worldwide, shellfish reefs have been overharvested for the lime in their shells to make cement. In an attempt to reverse this loss, OzFish has invented the Quilted Oyster Doona (QOD). This patented technique is set to revolutionise shellfish reef restoration by turning the thousands of kilometres of rock sea walls that stabilise our banks into living seawalls. QODs blanket these walls, creating a habitat for millions of shellfish and other animals.
