Danchee Ridgerock mods and upgrades

Danchee Ridgerock is a great hobby grade rock crawler right out of the box. But since this is a hobby, here are some of the best rock crawler mods I did to my daughters Ridgerock. You don't really need to upgrade the Ridgerock Rock Crawler, but you may want to try some of these modifications out for fun.

Wheels are weighted with stick on automotive weights and bbs were put in the tires.
Lighting is done with 3D printed light fixtures and LEDs.
Wired with Deans style connectors and JST plugs.
Extreme Velcro holds the body on and comes off quick and easy.
We painted the original body with polycarbonate safe paints from Tamiya.
Fun stickers were added for more personalization.

Future upgrades will be steering linkage and better servos front and back.
The brass pinion gears are soft and will probably wear out if you are rough on this rig, so maybe consider getting a set as a backup - I have a video on that repair as well.
