Jesus' death on the cross is the sacrifice to end all sacrifices. Through Him, we not only know ABOUT Jesus, but we also get to know WHO Jesus is in a personal way. We learn that through His death and resurrection, we have salvation. Through Jesus' finished work on the cross, we have eternal life and an open door to a personal relationship with Him.
