What's it like to travel during COVID-19 (Process & things you need) | Rica Peralejo -Bonifacio

After six long months, three flight cancellations, and hours of couch time with my Peralejo fam, we are finally coming home. Sa totoo lang sobra kong lungkot nung pauwi. The pandemic and lockdowns have brought us closer together with my Peralejo fam who live in the U.S. and so it was naturally so hard to say goodbye.

So there is a recap of what transpired over those months, but I also ended it with a lengthy description and enumeration of things you might need to take note of if you are flying back home yourself anytime soon. Left some notes for the parents or guardians of small kids also kasi isipin niyo, mahirap na nga magtravel ngayon pag adult pa, what more if you have little ones trotting along diba??? So I really, really hope this vlog is able to help you if you travel ia necessary for you at this time.

Some additional notes na hindi ko nabanggit sa vlog:

1) Social distancing is practiced almost everywhere, airport check ins and waiting areas, even on plane. But I just found out after our flight that our airline does not guarantee social distancing on plane if you are only booked on the regular economy class. Anything above that though ensures you can avail of the distancing seat options. I believe each airline has different ways to go about this so if you want to be sure, go and call your airline about it.

2) If traveling with a super active toddler like us: CHOOSE A NIGHT FLIGHT. Para sakto sa tulog niya and you will have less moments of trying to contain him in the seat and not mingle too much around the aircraft. This is to manage your anxiety na din about the virus hahaha. Bilang hindi sila pwedeng mag-mask!
