Sharing Malaysian snacks with Americans | Kuih Seri Muka & Puteri Ayu

Kuih Seri Muka and Puteri Ayu are some of the Kumaars' favorite Malaysian snacks. We found an opportunity to share them with our American friends recently. We are expecting our second son in three weeks, and since we are still in quarantine and are practicing social distancing, we could not throw a traditional baby shower. So instead we had a drive by diaper party where our friends drove by and dropped off diapers and other gifts. We used this as an opportunity to make our favorite Malaysian snacks, Kuih Seri Muka, Puteri Ayu and Kek Lapis to share with them. Check out our process of making it as a family before we anxiously wait to see if anyone shows up for our drive by diaper party.
