YouTube star MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, announced his engagement to fellow content creator Thea Booysen on January 1, 2025.
The proposal took place on Christmas Day 2024 during a family gathering, where MrBeast surprised Booysen with a diamond ring. The couple, who began dating in 2022 after meeting in South Africa, plans to have an intimate island wedding away from large crowds. Booysen, 27, is a gamer, content creator, and author from Cape Town, South Africa. She holds degrees in law, psychology, and neuroscience, and is known for her book "The Marked Children."
