Governor Beshear – US Army to station V Corps command at Fort Knox
Governor Andy Beshear and Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs executive director, Brigadier General (Ret.) Steven Bullard applaud the U.S. Department of the Army for selecting Fort Knox as new headquarters for the V Corps (Fifth Corps). This move will bring approximately 635 additional soldiers and their families to Kentucky.
