Hurricane Laura first outer bands bring high wind and surge begins to move in. Near Holly Beach drone shots show the Gulf of Mexico lapping at Hwy 27 and beginning to push water onto the highway. Near Hackleberry water begins to impact the first structures. Shots of Cameron Parish fire department evacuating the area with several fire trucks headed north away from the water. A water control gate shows the surge pushing in rapidly as the entire area will be under up to 20' of water as Laura pushes onshore.
