1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Barn Find Part VII: Virtual Tour

This is a one-family owned 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 fastback H-Code 390, purchased new by my grandfather on February 3, 1967 at Reavis Ford in Mocksville, NC. The car had very few miles put on it (under 26k) and was parked in my grandfather's barn around 1976-77. We inherited this car as part of my grandfather's estate when he passed away in 2003, and, in 2016, as we are beginning to restore the barn where the car sits, we've had the title transferred to us and have brought the car out into the light of day for the first time in nearly 40 years.

This car will be auctioned off on E-Bay at a low-reserve auction starting on February 3, 2017: exactly 50 years to the day it was purchased new. As coincidence would have it, February 3, 2017 is a Friday (as was February 3, 1967), and February 3, 2017 is National Wear Red Day (it doesn't get much redder than a candy apple red car with a red interior) for women's heart health. This is also significant, as my aunt, who was the primary driver of this car when it was new, passed away from a stroke several years ago, so with all those "coincidences" combined, I feel that this is simply the right time to sell the car.
