**Grandma's Chocolate Chip Cookies**

**Utensils**

**Ingredients**
1 cup of butter, softened
3/4 cup of granulated sugar
3/4 cup of brown sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
2-1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 cups of milk chocolate chips

**Instructions**
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream 1 cup of butter and 3/4 cup of sugar, 3/4 cup of brown sugar
until light and fluffy.
3. Add 2 large beaten eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla, stir until well mixed. Scrape the sides of the bowl.
4. Add the 2-1/2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Stir until well mixed. Fold in the 2 cups of chocolate chips.
5. Using a spoon, drop by teaspoonfuls onto a prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
6. 375°F., Bake 13 to 14 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned on top. Remove cookies and let them sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
