Biden's latest gaffe 'transcends beyond being a stylistic issue'

Recastled CEO Kosha Gada says US President Joe Biden's latest gaffe, in which he said his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin cannot remain in power, is "really dangerous".

Ms Gada said it's been "well documented" that President Biden "is not the best public speaker; he is very gaffe-prone".

"But in a situation like this that is so high-stakes, on the world stage, that problem transcends beyond being a stylistic issue to being a substantive one," Ms Gada told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

"What he said there is really dangerous because it reframed the issue of being about Ukrainian sovereignty or peace for the Ukrainian people, into revealing what some people in the corridors of power in Washington - whether in his administration or the permanent military leadership class - believe.

"And that is that some of them still do believe in this doctrine, this US foreign policy doctrine of regime change."
