when DRIFT mods do NOT go to plan

So with the drift day coming up in a few days, we have a lot of modifications to get done! Today we are attacking a very important part of drifting; steering lock and angle, and something that should have been a relatively easy install; turns out to be an absolute nightmare! and it's probably been one of the worst days on the 350z so far.

So having extra lock is very important in drifting, so you can get more angle but also more importantly for us; we have more room for error. So Torqen have sent us out a steering rack spacer kit which supposedly gives us 15% more angle (which is a little difference which goes a long way). However, installing this spacer kit is NOT as easy as the internet makes out (or least in my case it wasn't), after installing this it massively toe'd in the wheels, especially on the passenger side, and the thread on the standard track rod and tie rod just wasn't sufficient enough to pull it back in.. so we have to make a LOT of modifications to the tie rod and the track rod.. which luckily for me; was RUSTED SOLID. SO we had to revert to old school techniques.

Hope you enjoy the video!
