Geoff Tate Interview - Operation: Mindcrime/new band

I sat with Geoff Tate of Operation: Mindcrime and formerly Queensryche. He and the band played Spicoli's in Waterloo, IA on July 19, 2017.
This was one of the interviews I was most nervous about, as I have been such a fan of his work since I was a teen. The interview is a little disjointed as I was trying to keep it together and not go all "fan-boy" on him. lol
Geoff was a very nice guy and and one of the most relaxed interviews I've had. Thanks for being great, Geoff!

*ALSO* The "mic" was a very expensive TASCAM digital recorder that I borrowed from a coworker and had no idea it picked up as well as it did, so YES, it's to close to me and overmodulated terribly. I work in radio broadcasting - I'm well aware. However, It actually sounds BETTER than it did before I cleaned it up and synced it with the video. The camera mic wasn't enough and I interviewed Geoff in the office of the club he was to play that night. It was the quietest place as his daughter who was opening for him, was sound checking.
