When the floor of my workshop was littered with metal chips , for the thousands time over, I decided to build a Arduino Digital Air Pressure Regulator.

Simple is often better. So I grab an old blowgun and used this a valve. The Arduino Digital Air Pressure Regulator uses a Nema 17 Steppermotor to press the leaver of the blowgun. A micro end switch was placed against the leaver. When the Arduino Nano goes through the setup the stepper hits the end switch, now the program knows the exact position of the stepper.

Because I never worked with Arduino before the programming of the Arduino Digital Air Pressure Regulator turned out to be quite difficult. After many hours studying I was able to write a program. The ArduinoForum.cc community helped me big time with debugging and improving the sketch. So thanks a lot for that!

After putting all the parts together it was time to test the Arduino Digital Air Pressure Regulator. I assumed there would be some thinks that had to be improved, but to my surprise It worked just like I had designed it. No bad for a first project right?
