Con & Verdonck

Footage from family films (unedited, so you'll have to skip through it). My grandfather, Jacques M. Con was the co-owner and founder of the Con & Verdonck oriental rug stores in Holland. This video shows a store opening celebration and includes footage of one of his many trips to buy rugs (starting at about 11:30).You first see my grandfather talking to a group of businessmen at the 2 minute mark, and then again at 2:30. (At about 3:00 you see his daughters Lily (about age 17) and Els (about age 5), who cuts the ribbon. My grandmother (Lien Con) appears at various times as well.)
Following is some footage from one of his many rug buying trips.
At 23:40, you see a different Con & Verdonck store front. At 28:44, you see that there is an exhibition and celebration of 25 years in business together.
