President Trump Tweeted a couple of interesting tweets over the weekend. the first tweet reads "I have directed Steve Mnuchin to get ready to send direct payments ($3400 for a family of four) to all Americans. DEMOCRATS ARE HOLDING THIS UP! In this tweet President trump is talking about the second round of the $1200 stimulus check for adults and $500 for dependents. He send out another Tweet that said that he is ready to send out more ppp or paycheck protection programs funding to small businesses as well but the democrats are holding this up as well.
President Trump can not send more stimulus to the people with the Congress so he needs both the Republicans and the democrats in order to pass a second stimulus package but the problem is that the 2 sides does not agree on one united package and they want different things. For instance they republicans wants the liability protection for the business and the democrats wants the extension of the extra $600 pandemic unemployment benefits through the rest of the year. on the other hand president trump passed four executive orders that had a $400 per week unemployment benefit, a payroll tax differed and the eviction ban extension.

one of the latest problems between the 2 sides were the funding for the post office so President trump was asked about whether he will agree with the $25 billion funding for the post office in order to help with the mail in voting if the democrats agree to pass the heals act or what the president and the republicans wants. He said Yes that would not be an issue. even though that is some improvement when it comes to the second stimulus package but the main problem between the 2 sides is the State and local funds. the democrats are asking for a $1 trillion funding for state and local governments buy the republicans and not willing to offer anything except the $105 billion for schools.
