Portuguese has 5 vowels: a, e, i, o, u.
But, in fact, Portuguese has 12 vowel sounds: 7 oral and 5 nasal.

Some oral vowels:
- The letter "e" in ELA;
- The letter "o" in HORA;
- The letter "u" in UVA.

Some nasal vowels:
- The letter "ã" in FÃ;
- The leters "en" in PENTE.
