Footage of the Modern Army Combatives Program (MACP) Tournament at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. Round One was Level 1 MACP. Round Two through the Finals was Level 2 MACP, and the Finals featured a tactical enclosure (cage) with open strikes. The Modern Army Combatives Program was started by the U.S. Army in 1995 at Fort Benning, GA. The mission of MACP is to train Soldiers in close quarters Combatives in order to prepare them to close with and defeat the enemy in hand to hand combat. Filmed on September 11, 2015.
