Here are the possible questions:
1. Questions about your health, tattoos, body piercings and allergies.
2. What is the TaLK program?
3. What does TaLK stand for?
4. What made you choose TaLK over any other program?
5. Have you ever lived abroad (alone?)
6. What teaching experience do you have? Volunteering?
7. What do you know about the Korean culture/Korea?
8. What do you know about rural Korea?
9. Have you ever tried Korean food?
10. What is your favourite Korean food?
11. You’re placed in a town with no movie theatre, no supermarket and no one speaks English. How do you deal with this?
12. What do you plan to do in your free time?
13. How would you deal with feelings of isolation when you’re in Korea and no longer in orientation?
14. How do you deal with stress?
15. You aren't Korean, but you continually get mistaken to be Korea, how would you feel about this?
16. You don’t speak Korean, and there is no one who speaks English, what do you do to overcome this struggle?
17. What do you know about the English education in Korea?
18. You might be placed in somewhere rural like Jeju Island, which is an hour flight away from Seoul, how do you feel about this?
19. Many Korean apartments are very old and traditional, and lack many features that modern housing have. You might be living in a place that builds up a lot of mould in the summer when it is humid. How do you feel about this?
20. You have a one hour commute from your apartment to the school, you get there and find that all classes are cancelled. How do you feel? What would you do?
21. Your teaching schedule is very sporadic, some days you might not be teaching at all, and on others you will be teaching 6 classes. How do you feel about this?
22. On x day, you have classes in the afternoon and you can get the 11:00am bus to school to be there for 12:00pm. The principal would like all teachers to be on campus for 9:00am, and the only bus before that time is at 7:00am. What would you do?
23. Class of ten 13-14 year olds with low proficiency in English, two students start fighting, what do you do?
24. A co-teacher isn’t guaranteed, so you might be teaching alone, how would you feel about that?
25. The school asks you to work 2 hours extra/week, but cannot pay you as they do not have the funding in their budget, how would you feel about that and what would you do?
26. You’re finishing up for the day and will be meeting your friends for drinks, your Korean co-teacher comes up and asks you if you’re coming to the work party. This is the first time you’ve heard of it. What do you do?
