CAT 4 Cyclone Kevin hits Vanuatu - "we are getting smashed"

Severe CAT 4 Cyclone Kevin made a direct hit on Port Vila, Vanuatu overnight.

This is the second cyclone to hit Vanuatu in 2 days.

I lost contact with Andy Martin, in Port Vila, at 9.42pm on Friday night after he sent several messages about the dire situation.

Andy said "Its a shitfest up here" "We are getting smashed"

Satellite images showed Port Vila to be in the eyewall of Kevin.

Message to the NZ government, NZDF and the Australian government, stop looking at You Tube and send everything you can up to Vanuatu soonest.
