CEC & Wild Farmland: Gaviota SOIL Project
Our Gaviota SOIL (Saving Organics and Investing in Land) project team is gearing up to grow. The next phase will include collecting more land-based data, building more capacity for food waste composting, and advancing regional supportive policy.
Excitingly, our growth will also be fueled by our recent selection as a member of the Community Composting for Green Spaces program, a technical assistance program run by CalRecycle and the California Alliance of Community Composters. This will also connect us with a network of land-based and community-driven composting projects throughout the state. We will share more details in the coming weeks.
You can help us grow too. Share this video to help spread the word.
