And we’re BACK with episode two of Mystery Pack! Our hero this episode is rapper and producer Kirk Knight. Member of BK based hip-hop collective Pro Era, Kirk has produced for the likes of A$AP Ferg, Joey Bada$$ and Flatbush Zombies, and released his second solo album Iiwii in 2018. We presented him with a challenging collection of sounds, but Kirk Kneezy does not fail. After flipping a spooky synth loop, some wack percussion, and squaring up with a truly formidable sea lion, Kirk made three beats in one and the result was magic. Mystery Pack is a show where we give producers a simple challenge — take a sample pack comprised of ten random, unknown sounds and make a dope beat. The only rule is you have to use all ten sounds, the rest is up to the producer and their creative flow.
