This was filmed on day 28 of the Spanish mandatory lockdown, Friday 10th April 2020
My name is Sophie Simonds, I'm a musician, and I live in A Coruña, Spain.

- Spain had gone into lockdown, closing all schools, churches, shops and other businesses, leaving only supermarkets, pharmacies, tobacconists and takeaway restaurants open. People were permitted to leave their house only if it was necessary, e.g dog walking, grocery shopping, or filling out prescriptions.

- My main income whilst living here was from busking, which i couldnt do during lockdown, but i'm fortunate to have savings to rely on, whilst so many other freelance artists are left without their income.

- Over the course of the lockdown, I posted a hundred videos documenting our experience of being trapped in another country, away from our family in England, and how we got through it.
Since then we have become permanent residents of Spain because we love it so much!
