Vangipurapu Venkata Sai Laxman, a name the Australians can never forget. A name that will forever be associated with one of the greatest fight backs in Test match cricket, his 281 at Eden Gardens, which earned him the nickname Very Very Special Laxman.

Soft spoken, smiling and shy, his affable personality has him loved by all. He played hard and he played fair. An artist and a gentleman.

In conversation with Gaurav Kapur, he talks about dressing room camaraderie, Dada’s in-famous victory celebration at the Lords. He opens up about his family and his SRH days with David Warner & Kane Williamson.
