To unlock the ability to craft these armor sets you will need to retrieve specific rare items from the Argosy & the Meowcenaries.

Chaos Armor = Shadeshrooms (Shrine Ruins)
Edel Armor = Stargazer Bloom (Frost Islands)
Mosgharl Armor = Omegapumpking (Flooded Forest)
Death Stench Armor = Sinister Darkcloth (Sandy Plains)
Jelly Armor = Gothjelly (Lava Caverns)

Argosy:

Melahoa Armor = Dosbiscus (Nut Expedition)
Makluva Armor = Springnight Carp (Nut Expedition)
Shell Studded Armor = Dreamshell (Mushroom/Bug Expedition)
Rhopessa Armor = Butterfly Beetle (Mushroom/Bug Expedition)
