Helix - The Next Level

One word - astounding!

Finally, after 3 years of waiting, I had the hugely exciting opportunity to ride a hidden gem situated in Scandinavia and that was to ride the incredible roller coaster Helix at Liseberg in Gothenburg City, Sweden.

Never before have I been left speechless by a ride and Helix was the first to deliver. It is without doubt one of the best coasters in Europe and in many ways, the world too. It's constant pacing along it's very long track with two LSM launches and seven inversions, all in the comfort of Mack makes this not only an intense experience for airtime over those hills at the back of the train, but also makes the whole experience very comfortable and re-rideable. As a result, this is now my personal favourite coaster beating Nemesis at Alton Towers at long last and if you are considering making a trip to Liseberg and ride this treat for the first time, do it. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!
