Hack Rod | In the Innovation Zone at AU with Mouse McCoy and Felix Holst
What if you could design and build a car in a dorm room? Mouse McCoy and Felix Holst are showing what’s next in industrial design and manufacturing with their Hack Rod sports car. They’re bypassing the standard auto industry approaches in favor of a more nimble process that uses generative design, immersive design in VR, and distributed manufacturing to create a car in a fraction of the time—and for a fraction of the cost—that it takes the major car companies.
