In memory of Elkon Pikus, my great-grandfather.

Elkon Pikus: Nov.11, 1905 - Nov.25, 2008
Elkon was arrested, tortured and spent 8 years in the Gulag labor camp, eventually immigrating to the USA with his family (myself included). Additionally, he was disabled for most of his 103 year life from contracting Polio during his childhood. He was a constant source of strength and spirit for us all.
