Rebuilding the counter stern of my boat! ** Episode 11 **

Episode 11

In this episode i get started on shaping the fashion piece by scribing some templates from the unfair surface on the counter stern with the help of my father.
Then fitting these templates to both edges of the timber i can transfer the lines in which i need to shape the wood back to in order to achieve a snug fit.

Once i get the timber to a close enough fit i can then rip down the next timber to then fit to the top edge of the first board using a hardwood tongue ready for the correct bevels and deck camber to be marked on and shaped.

Whilst i let the glue set i get the tape measure out to work out whats needed for the next step. Rebuilding the coach roof!
