SCRIVENER FOR BEGINNERS | A Tutorial for the Technologically Challenged Writer | Scrivener 3 MacOS
SCRIVENER TUTORIAL! Scrivener can be a great way to organize, format, and share your writing. But with the learning curve required, it can also seem intimidating to get started. This video was made with easily-intimidated, not-so-tech-savvy people (like myself) in mind. If you're looking for a fast-paced, accelerated introduction to the software, this is NOT the video for you.
If, however, you've been looking at Scrivener for years, wanted to give it a shot, but been turned off again and again by the overwhelming amount of bells and whistles... this video is for you. I hope you find it helpful.
If there is anything you want me to go over more thoroughly, or any other feature of Scrivener you would like me to explain in another video, please let me know in the comments below!
DISCLAIMERS:
- I am NOT by any means a Scrivener proffessional. This video is not sponsored by Scrivener, and I am not receiving any kind of benefit (monetary or otherwise) for promoting the program. I am just your basic random authortuber who got Scrivener at a discount for winning NaNoWriMo. I'm still learning how to use the software myself. My hope is that I can help other technologically-challenged writers like myself learn how to navigate this intimidating (but very useful) tool.
- There are more than one version of Scrivener out there. In this video, I am using Scrivener 3 for MacOS. If you have a different version, this video may not be helpful for you. Either way, I highly recommend reading the user manual for your version and/or watching the official Scrivener tutorials on Youtube (link below)
