High-end photo book made with 10 years of images! Saal-Digital Professional Line Collaboration

The company Saal Digital offered to let me try out their professional line of photo books. I was reluctant at first because I didn't want to simply throwing random images I liked into a book. If I couldn't think of something meaningful it was a no-go. That changed when I came up with an idea that really excited me. Rock Cut State Park is a beautiful large state park in my area that I have a long photographic connection to. The goal was to find as many photos of Rock Cut that I could in my archive and use those for the basis of the design. I wanted every season represented. I had also wanted to take one new photo for the last page. It turns out I was able to find 6823 photographs over 10 years of photographing that one place, of high enough quality. With that collection I set forward in selecting and editing images until I wound up with a 52-page acrylic covered high quality photo book. This took many, many hours to accomplish. But seeing the physical book make it feel worthwhile!
