Tiffany Johnston, 19, was abducted at a Bethany, OK car wash in 1997; serial killer William Reece’s death sentence appeal was denied in 2025.

Tiffany disappeared on July 26, 1997 at the Sunshine Car wash in Bethany; her body was found the next day near I-40 west of Yukon. Reece later confessed (2016), was convicted and sentenced to death in Oklahoma, and is still fighting that sentence through appeals (with Oklahoma appeals denied in 2025).
