RV Living 🚙 VAN Modifications to My Tiny House on Wheels & Had a Minor Camper Van WRECK 😱

In today's RV living travel vlog, I share some van modifications to my tiny house on wheels and I discuss my minor camper van wreck.

I finally left Missouri and started living in a van doing the full time RV living thing. Before I leave I wanted to make a few van modifications. And yes, I did have a minor camper van wreck right before I hit the road. It wasn't a major issue but there is definitely some damage but all cosmetic. So don't worry van life is still a go!

So I'm always looking to make my tiny house on wheels more home-like but also less cluttered. The whole reason I bought this Winnebago Travato KL is because I want an open feel. So too much clutter will make living in a van challenging for me. So in order to embrace full time RV living I needed to organize my tiny house on wheels and do some van modifications.

The back of my van has lots of van modification storage possibilities. I added some hooks and hung all my hoses, an RV water filter, a van life shovel, and a bucket to make camping in a van conversion a little easier.

The next mod to my Travato was a little interior decorating. I got some really cool coasters that were so nice looking I decided to add them to the wall of my camper van. It came out pretty well and has made RV living and living in a van even better.

The next RV life mod was adding a bluetooth monitoring system to my Volta Power System. This van modification allows me to monitor my camper van's electrical system and gives me a lot of interesting stats that make living in a van conversion even more enjoyable.

Last, let's talk about my camper van wreck. My RV crash wasn't that serious. I was on a narrow street, there were a lot of roll out basketball hoops. A big truck came towards me in the opposite direction, there was no room for my camper van and his truck so I pulled my tiny house on wheels over to the side of the road to let him pass. I didn't notice the basketball hoop. It hit my van 3 times and cause a dent and some scrapes and scratches. This is one of those things that happens and is part of living in a van conversion -- but I'm still mad at myself. Was a very dumb mistake - and I need to be more aware! So yeah I had an RV wreck but it could have been much worse.
